Default Bell housein same for 89 to 94 GT?

I was wondering are the bell housings different between the 89 GT and a 94 GT. I am looking at a T5 for a 94 GT and the dude said I just have to get a bell housing for a 94-95 mustang to fit my 89 5.0. Is that right?

I believe the input shaft may also be a different length

If the input shaft is a different length then I would not be able to use this 94 tranny correct?

that is correct, but input shafts are very easy to swap out. 4 bolts and you're there

If I'm not mistaken, a friend of mine put a transmission from a 1994 GT in a fox body car. He never changed the imput shaft, but he mentioned the bell housing.

The input shafts are different lengths. If you use a 94 bell housing and tranny your shifter will be about 2 inches further back and you drive shaft may no longer fit.

So If I get a 94 T5 tranny I just need to replace the input shaft from my 89 t5 and put my 89 bell housing on CORRECT??
