Thumbs up Badge change - 5.0 to 5.4?

I just saw an ad in MM&FF or 5.0 (can't remember which) that is now selling the 5.4 badge that has the same look as the 5.0 badge. I know the 5.8 and 7.4 badges have been around for a while now, but now that the 5.4 is out, I'm thinking of getting them for my Mustang.

So what do you guys think? Would you do it?

I've always liked the 'sleeper' look of my Mustang (original 'Pony' wheels, no cowl hood, no ground effects, no nothing. Looks like it rolled out of the showroom - save for the 2.5 pipes, but they're not that noticable.

Just curious to hear what you guys would do.

BTW - if you're curious to see what my Mustang looks like, check out the Media Center.

I got them for my 331 stroker too. $9.99 apiece. Not on the car yet. I say definitely go for it. Here's a pic:

I think it would be a nice change.

or you could just put 2.3 emblems on your car

I voted to keep the 5.0 for a sleeper before looking at the pics. Those are pretty sweet

Now you've just gone ahead and confused the common ricer. Your pretty much just putting it in terms so ricers can understand it (Badging) lol
But in all seriousy, I think it's pretty sweet.

I say go for it. Its a suttle enough change that most wouldn't notice it, so it would still have the sleeper edge to it.

If your going for the sleeper look, you need to keep the 5.0 badges on there...

My car still says 302 on the back, even though I have a 347.
I justify it by having a 302 block

If i were you i'd just keep the 5.0L badges on there. As mentioned, 5.4L badges may be interpreted as "ricey" or people may think you have a modular engine in your fox.
