Hey 90dpscoupe. So having 3.27's is better than 3.08's meaning gas economy. I go from Miami to Geogia and in a full tank of gas I do 360-375 miles. Do 3.27's do better? I thought the higher the gear the more gas you waste.

I don't mean to start this whole thing up again, but it seems that some of you are afraid of these inports and that an occasional one runs 12s or 11s even, but my 20 year old friend daily drives his 90 LX stang on the street and it is capable of low 10s (nothing comes close to it) he is now in the process of turning it into a Renegade car b/c it was ridiculously fast for the street. I'd like to see one of your imports try that. I'm sure one of you will come back saying that you saw one on the street, but that is only one compared to the many american cars in the tens on the street. If you were wondering it has a paxton blower, ported TFS heads, intake, X303, custom chips, and all the other stuff that would take too long to list.

Well, fhp i wouldnt hold that against me, i was told this from a guy at the local track, but on the highway, i would say stay with 3.08's, 3.55's i 'heard' are better in city driving because the motor stays closer in the powerband.
But good luck and have some nice highway rides. |
