I think the worst part was changing the pedals. I'm 6'7 and it is no fun squeezing under the dash. Other then that it was easy.

if you are gonna pay someone to do it plus parts, it would be almost cheaper to by a blower
it took me about 9-11 hours total to do mine. so give a pro 8 hours times say 70 bucks an hour thats $560 in just labor, then between $700-1500 in parts depending on how much used stuff you get, your looking at close to 2 grand doing mine myself combined with getting $425 for my freshly rebuilt AOD and finding a good T-5 for $200, i was only out about $150-200 total for the swap im sure if you find someone in your area on this site that has the space to do it, and you take them your car and a donor car (or ALL the parts needed) then they would cut you a deal on the labor check out this site, its very informative and goes step by step with all the parts you will need http://members.aol.com/black306/AODT5.html good luck ------------------ 88 Notch, B&M Ripper, 3.73's, Ported E7's, Explorer int. w/ ported lower, pulleys, 1.7RR's, BBK headers, off-road H-pipe, flowmasters, subframes, 65mm TB, March ram air ,MSD coil, U/L control arms, 155lph f/p, Crane Adj.FPR, Nitto drag radials, best 1/4--> 13.76@101.4 on a 2.17 60ft |
