What Tires fit 17x9 Cobra R's
I just got the 4 lug 17x9 cobra r rims and I was wondering what size tires fit these rims. I know a 245/45/17 fits but does a 235/45/17 or a 245/40/17 fit?

Just a quick question for you consering those rims. I have a 92 LX and have the stock 16x7 I think, and have 245/50r16 tires. My question is can those Cobra R rims (17x9 or 17x8) fit my car?

Although they are not real Cobra R's, I had these on my 1990 and they fit fine. Just a little bit of rubbing in the front when at full turn. The guy at wheelreplicas said these wheels have just a little more offset to them in order to fit the pre-92 Stangs that didn't have the larger wheel wells. 289 - I have since sold my stang, but I am pretty sure i was running the 235/45/17 on the front with my Cobra R's. Might want to get some other opinions though, as my memory may be wrong.

I have 245-40-17 on the front. 275-40-17 on the rear. No problem
