door hinge pins
does anyone know how to remove the old pins from the door hinge to replace them on a 89 model
thanks for any help |

They have to be cut in half to remove them.
Not too difficult but you need the right tools, of course. A small drill and a sharp blade will do it. New pins slip right in. |

i actually already went through that when mine broke and a friend of mine who works for ford did it and said its kind of a pain, but the new one broke also after abiut a year and a half, i git some more but have been hesitant to do it, i would imagine replacing the new pin would be eaiser, let me know how you make out.

i did it today the old ones were a pain to get out had to cut them with a sawzall then you have to beat the bushings out with a hammer after that the new pin goes right in

why are you guys replacing your door pins?? I'm not sure if I need to also but my driver side door sags. Is this why???? thanks

Dude, they are a pain in the a$$ to change. Your best bet is to take it to a body shop for those.
