Default aod to 5-speed

I am look at a 91 Gt with 160000 miles. It is an automatic, and i was wondering if it is difficult to convert to a 5-speed transmisson? And what things i would need to change and if anyone has done this what are some help tips you could give me?

this has been done many times before
you should do a search in the forum.

I think it is a fair amount of work and can be expensive so if you haven't purchased the car yet maybe you should keep looking until you find what you want.

been there done that and got the t-shirt. It takes lots of patience and then some more patience.
Some of the things of the top of my head are:
Clutch pedal assembley
Clutch cable, quadrant
Clutch
Shifter, with boot
5 speed crossover
electronics(some people splice the wires and reconnect) I got mine from Ford
Flywheel
Throwout bearing
5 speed driveshaft(auto will work but not recommended)
T5(obviously)

Like mentioned before, there have been many posts about this, you should do a search, there are some with links in there for step by step instructions which are great. Good luck.
