Question Excessive Motorsports?

I have read a couple of post on how bad these guys are. I'm thinking about buying a motor from them. Should I?????

No. You shouldn't. Supporting a company that screws people over even if they don't screw you (you most likely will be) isn't right.

That's just my opinion. For more info go ahead and click "search" on the area just above the topics in this forum, it's on the right side. Search the "Performance Industry" forum. Search term "Excessive Motorsports."

That should be everything that you need to know about those a-holes. They screw people over, big time, again and again. It won't be soon enough when they go out of business.

Every couple of months someone posts questions asking about these guys and every couple of months there are 30+ posts talking about how much they suck. Do yourself a favore and stay the hell away from them. They're practically in my backyard and I'd rather wait a couple weeks from a mail order company for my parts. What does that tell ya?

Thanks for the replies guys. I was search this forum and could not find anything. I searched the Performance Industry and found all the info I needed. I order a new motor form them last week and will be cancelling tomorrow. I don't want to take any chancing. I guess I'm going to go with CCM.

Make sure you call them ASAP. Don't be surprised it they try to charge you some sort of restocking fee, or some lame excuse of how they have already started building it. Hopefully this won't be the case.

I really doubt they will allow you to cancel without a restock fee.

What was the lead time they gave you?

I bought a "Set" of "Red" fuel rails for a Cartech fuel system and they came Silver and they look a little used. Plus, I didn't get any fittings either. I will never buy from them again.

Unfortunately I had the sorry experience of dealing with these schmucks. As everyone else said they SUCK! I know they have nice two page glossy ads in some of the magazines but I wouldn't even buy a pvc valve from them.Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine did a feature on a car they built to run in the renagade class (oct 2000). Guess who built the engine? Keith Craft. Why? Even they know that they suck.If they did quality work they would be proud to showcase it in the car!
