Major engine trouble!!
Just got the stang back on the road, has been running fine on short trips, today is my day off, so i thought id take the stang to work to get an inspection sticker.
I was almost there about 10 miles from my house, at the stoplight, and i heard loud rocker noise, or lifter noise, then i noticed my car smoking white smoke, it lost power, and started vibrating like it's running on 7 cylinders? I immediately turned around and went home, I popped the hood and the engine is running like crap, shaking around? Im going to tear it down right now, I just installed tfs springs and some crane 1.7 rockers, already had an e-cam and some basic mods. The noise went away mostly, but it's still smoking white? The lifters and pushrods are about the only thing that i havent replaced lately, hopefully someone can help me Btw oil pressure stayed up the whole time.

Re: Major engine trouble!!
I pull the valve covers off, and to my amazment, # 3 intake rocker was laying on it's side, nothing was even scratched? no bent pushrods either, guess I forgot loctite....oh well, but now it's fixed, and im still seeing some white smoke out the tailpipes, but myabe it needs to be driven. any opinions on that? could I have took out an intake gasket? plugs are clean.

Re: Major engine trouble!!
My first guess was the rocker coming loose, had that happen on a 95 once. Anyway, do a compression test on #3 to be sure rings are good, I would drive it around and let it run, it should be fine.
