Default quick water pump question....need to order tonight

i have a standard rotation waterpump with the serpentine belt because i have no power steering , ac, or air pump. I have to order a new pump tonight and wanna make sure a 79-85 5.0 v-belt water pump is what i want. Same dimensions as far as the pulley is concerned and all. So i can just pop on the serp pulley and be good to go.

thanks for the help

I don't know what 79-85 you aree talking about because my 84 came with a serpintine belt on it. I have succesfuly used the mid 70's water pupmp though depending on which timing cover you have. If you water pump comes with a backing plate then you can use any of the real early model ones (60's and 70's) if you have the water pump that doesn't come with the backing plate then there is a standard rotation one oout there i have seen it and sold it many moons ago when i was a counterman but for the life of me i can't remember what it came off of now(i think lincon but couldn't even guess at years).
