Need help identifying a few wires on my '86.
Theres two sets of wires going from the engine bay to the interior. They run through the same chunk of wiring as the main wiring harness in the engine bay that goes to the computer, but when they go in the interior they seperate off into somewhere else.
They seem to be going into the dash. I don't know if I should just cut them, and try to re-attatch them to the new harness Im buying, or trace them down and disconnect them. The engine that was originally in the car was a 3.8l, the engine Im putting in it is a '86 HO 5.0 from a Mark VII. And the wiring harness and computer Im getting will probaly be from a 87-93 Mustang. All the '86 V6 wiring will be gone soon...will wiring from a 87-93 mustang match up w/ my '86 engine and '86 car? Any input is appreciated... |
