![]() I have heard that a four cylinder t-5 transmission can be used behind a 5.0 if the shaft is turned down to fit the 5.0's pilot bearing. Is this true?

![]() Nope, the 5.0 shaft is bigger than the 4 cyl shaft. But you can change pilot bearings and it will work. Tranny is a weak POS though. It might hold up behind a stock motor.
