Question Tire brand questions

I'm looking at getting some pony rims and am starting to research tires. This is for a daily driver so I want inexpensive tires, but still want Z rated.

I came up with the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 only $381 delivered for a set of 4 245/50 ZR16

Pep boys wants $436 for a set of their Z rated tires

Sumito and Yokohama also have sub $100 each offerings, according to Tire rack the Kumho actually have good feedback ratings comparable to the newest Comp TA's, The Sumito had pretty average ratings

Anyone here run the Kumho tires, any comments good or bad appreciated!

I concur with srv1. Falkens are decent tires. There no drag radials, but they're great in weather and the ZIEX tread pattern is sweet looking. I'm running 275's and 255's on my Cobra R's.

Cool

Good feedback guys, Discount Tire direct and Vulcan carries those Falken's but dont have any customer feedback ratings. They look cool and are within a few bucks of the Kumho's. Tirerack does not have those Falkens listed, lots of pretty good feedback for the Kumho's. I have a few months to research this so no need to rush just yet, gettin snow tires in a month or so.
