Default Head Questions

Hi there i have a pair of gt 40p heads on my 86 gt i wanted to take the off to see how they are working my question is can i use the the same gasket thats on there, im not sure how long it has been on therer. thanks alot.

Trick flow Crank Shaft, comp Timing chain. MSD 7 series ignition, msd hvc2 coil, MSD timing adjust, MSD Pro billet Dis, Hooker long tube, Off road H pipe 1 chanber race flows, 4.10 gears, Vortech cooler and T-Trim with a 25lb boost AND LOTS MORE.

your question is "if you can re-use the head gaskets"?

No you can't they'll leak.

sorry but thats a pretty silly ?? you have to get new- the best are the 9333 PT1 by felpro.

there are reuasble head gaskets but you pay for what you get Ive reused my felpro loc wires before but thats a diffrent story

it would also depend on how long and the condition when taken off i always plan on replacing the gaskets and spending time with gasket removing scaping and swearing for the day
