Default Gear places in Boston (again)

I know I've posted on this before, I just wanted to see if the general wisdom has changed. New set of gears, 1 year later.

I'm looking for a place near boston that does gears well. I am aware of the place in taunton on rte 140 but it's kinda far away and I dont know if I would be able to bus it back to the boston area from there.

Currently....

I have some guys nearby my house that have done PHENOMENAL good work for me in the past for my exhaust system and suspension and asked for very little. I'm inclined to give them my business again but it is clear that they are not gear guys. With FMS gears, its not that much of a gamble if I was able to do it with no testing. They asked for $350 to do the gears and only $300 to do a torque converter, lockupshaft, exhaust, driveshaft and speedo (basically, all part of 1 operation)

What do you think? Should I give the gears to someone else or stick with people I like?

I was at forte's parts connection yesterday and he mentioned that there is a place called automotion down the street in billerica that does gears _right_ . They'd charge $325. Weird thing is....it's a saab/volvo place. I actually had a saab once and anyone willing to work on a saab is a brave man (90% of the shops wont touch em for some reason). It's within walking distance of the 350 line in burlington so I am a happy camper!
