CCM GT-40p long bocks
Greetings everyone, I'm a newcommer here. Great site! Anyhow, I'm replacing my tired 302 from my '88 GT. I'm thinking seriously about getting Central Coast Mustang's GT-40p long block. Has anyone out there had any experience with their set-up: GT-40p heads, B-303 cam? They claim 320 flywheel hp, sounds reasonable with the right induction. Anyone run a dyno test or timeslips? Decent mpg and idle with this combo? Thanks MW!

I've been looking into their 331 long blocks. They look like they're good quality. The GT-40P engines use totally different parts, but it seems like it'd be a good buy. I've never run one though.

I just dyno'd mine today. I put a Crane 2031 in it instead of a B cam, and it puts out 277 RWHP, which works out to around 330 HP at the flywheel, I think. They've been real helpful too.
