Question Bad Driveline vibration. Bent Driveshaft??????

All right, here's the situation. Whenever I get above 70mph no matter what gear I am in, I get a really bad vibration somewhere in the driveline. I just had my tires balanced and it doesn't help when I push in the clutch at 70+mph. I know it's either in the tranny or the driveshaft. I can feel the vibration in the shifter pretty bad also. I hope it's the driveshaft and not the tranny. If anybody has had this problem or has some advice, please let me know before I buy the wrong thing. Thanks

Tha sounds like it needs the good 'ole NASCAR remedy....rotate your driveshaft 180* and it should clear it right up.

I was going to say the same, rotate it 180, that should clear it up, if not get a aluminuim one.

I'll agree with that, rotate it, and if you still have vibration, get an aluminum.

I just bought a new alum driveshaft and had the same problems you have described. After a loooong time troubleshooting this vibration, and trying various things, I decided to get one. So I will let you know if this clears it up! Good luck!
