Viper top speed?

anyone know what gear the viper is in when it tops out?? 5th or 6th???

I believe it's 5th, don't take my word for that though, I know I read something in Car and Driver a couple years ago about the new Corvette's topping out in 5th gear and they have very similar transmissions. ~Brian

Oh yeah...92 octane NO detonation.
