T-5 swap
I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate on how much i will end up spending to 5.0 from an auto to manual?
I have a T- 5 already that is in great shape and only spent $200 for it. I know there is alot of things that need to take place in order for this to take place, just need a little idea from the guys that have done this before. Thanks and sorry for the length. |

Check WWW.stangparts.com. I think they have a kit so you can see what you need and how much it will run.

I am into the swap right now. it is not hard but time consuming. the hardest thing is the pedals.
Figure $200.00 for a good clutch $100.00 adj quadrent $50.00 cable $50.00 pedals $25.00 stock shifter you would still need flywheel, some millecionas wires like the wire that doesn't let you start the car while it is in gear. Reverse wiring lights and some more small stuff. |
