![]() Long rods are for consistant high rpm use. You would not benefit from it unless you are strictly building a race motor. Theory is with the longer rod is to build up a little more cylinder pressure do to the fact that the piston is sitting up at TDC a bit longer. If you are going all out, build yourself a nice 331/347 stroker. You will get more satisfaction out of the motor that way.
