Default horn button

is there anyway to recondition the horn button? i tried once using a sponge but it didnt work too well or maybe someplace that sells new ones at a reasonable price.

Let me guess........sometimes it sticks "on"
That happened to my '88 a little bit ago. I just removed the horn button from the center of the wheel and took the vinyl cover off and put it back on again and it works so far.
If it does it again, 'm going to the junkyard and get another one.

We had the same problem on our 88GT. Go down to your local fabric store and pickup some 1/4" foam strips. Cut them in small pieces and glue them onto the bottom metal plate. This will be good insulation and this fix has lasted a few years already.
