Eibach Drag Launch Kit

I have plans on re-doing my suspension and think I have decided to go with the drag launch kit. I will also be getting some Lakewood 90/10 or 70/30 struts and 50/50 rear shocks. I need some new control arms while I'm at it. Has anyone had any experience with the MAC control arms? If so, was it a good one? Are there any better, or at least comperable, control arms close to the same price? The only experience I have had with MAC components are the equal length shorty headers, which were a pain to install, and the CAI, which is a no brainer. Are these components gonna be a pain to install in my driveway? How much do you think these will improve my times? If anyone has any suggestions of better components, feel free to throw them out there. I'm always open for suggestions.

I also plan on some subframe connectors. Any suggestions on type and brand for a good price? I've got about $1300 to work with. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

i used steeda for a while and then converted to wolf racecraft. I'll never put anything else on my cars. After i bought the stuff, the tech support was awesome. A guy there named lynden is cool. He helped with the setup of my car and it launches straight and true, and hooks great. The steeda stuff is good but my car wasnt hooking up. I called and called and nobody was any help. I used the eibach drag launch kit. My stock springs with adjustable shoks work best. I have the anti roll bar so i dont need the airbag.

I've got the Eibach Drag Launch kit, MAC Adjustable Uppers and Lakewood Traction Action lowers. (I had the MAC Lowers but the Lakewood's are better suited to my needs). I also have 70/30's in the front and 50/50's out back. The uppers are great, my new lowers are better since they are adjustable for height, and have bracketry with them to adjust the height.

The spring install was a pain on the front coils, mainly because they are a bit taller than my stock ones were, so I had to be really careful with my compressor to put them in. The struts are easy, and the rear stuff is straight forward too. The car rides rougher but launches way better.

when i put the drag launch springs on, my front end rode higher. I wonder if it would work as good if i cut a coil out, to keep ride hight looking good?

That's what I did, cut one turn out of the springs and it sits normal in the front, otherwise it sat a bit high for my liking. Something to consider if you've taken a lot of weight off the front.

I wouldn't cut the fronts. They are longer because they are built to squat and store spring energy to send the front end up hard on launch. If you cut them you reduce the effect of the spring. A 90/10 strut will enhance the spring big time and let the front end stretch out all the way on launch puting the weight on the back tires.
I just left them alone and faught them four hours trying to get the fronts in there. If the front end sits higer put a taler tire out back because you want more sidewall anyway. IMO use the 90/10 strut even if you drive it on the street, I did and it was fine.
