Godslayer, Pass up the internal spring compressor rig and find an external spring compressor like is used on front wheel drive cars with the strut rod inside the spring. It looks like a big "V", it pivots at the "v" intersection, has the clamp bolt in the middle and clamps to the spring at the open end of the "v". Be safe when you do this work and secure a chain around the spring and the K-member frame.
