Tranny help
My trans is shot so I need to replace it. I've got a 95 GT 5 speed. My buddy works at ford and can get me a 95 cobra tranny for $950 and I'd hate to pass up that offer. Will the cobra transmission bolt up to my car fine. If not what do I need to change...bellhousing, clutch fork, driveshaft, etc. I'm looking to spend $1000 or at least close to it. Are there any other transmissions that you guys recommed for around that price. Thanks guys, Jason.

the 95 cobra will fork fine. I have a 87gt, and it has a 95 cobra tranny. The only thing i had to use different was the 95 bell housing, cause the 95 cobra tranny (the output shaft) is longer then on the normal 77-93 t-5. But u willbe fine!
