Default Child Restraint

I have a problem I cant use a baby car seat in my 90gt because the rear seat belts wont lock, theres a faded label on them and from my understanding there was a clip or something used to keep the belt locked into position, can anyone help me out cause its a real hassle not being able to use the car to drive the baby around.

first are you using a tether strap? second is the rear belts shoulde belts or lap? you should be using the center belt for the seat it's should be a manuel adjustment but the outsides are impact hard brake up to 5mph.info is from alldata//// the tether straps are free from ford dealers! the ancore is behind the seat under the carpet and sound insulation it's nut welded to the floor.

The rears are sholder belts, my gf has a 01mustang with sholder belts in the rear which you just pull out all the way and they lock into place, i'll play around with the diff ways to secure the seat it came with some straps but I dont see any place they would hook up like on my gf's 01 which have hook up on the back dash.

You can also find in the exact place in the Owner manual. Around pp 52-53. I found mine easily with a nail then remove the extra with an exacto. Strongly suggest to use the strap attached in the trunk to secure the seat and the future driver of this car

My son love this car and often he can even sleep in it.

Goooood son!

I don't know about the States, but up here in the north the dealership will give you the child safety seat mounting hardware for free. Just go in and give them the model of the car.
