Converting from Pedestal to Stud mount
What all is needed/ involved with converting pedestal mount RR to stud?

You'll need stud mounted rockers of course along with guide plates and hardened pushrods. Studs for SBF are usually either 7/16 or 3/8. 3/8 will work for most mild to moderate applications, but 7/16 are stronger and more stable for high HP applications. You'll have to have the heads machined to accept the studs. There are cheap, bolt-on conversions, but a true stud setup is the only way to go.
