How to put a 460 in an 88 gt
Just out of intrest i wass wondering what you have to do to put a 460 with a c-6 in an 88 gt. would the power be worth the extra weight? my dad has a 460 with a c-6 out of a 76 lincon that he would sell to me for $1000 canadian. also what other mods must i make if i do this?
thanks for the help |

Well for one a different oil pan. You'll need a dual sump. Headers will be different. Most of the 429-460 conversions I've seen went pretty smooth. You may want to get the conversion plate so you can mount a C-4 behind it. The C-4 will definitely outlast and out perform the much heavier C-6. One of the conversions I plan on doing in the future is stroking a 460 to a 514 and going for broke.
