Default fuel pressure help

on my 69 302 when i make a 1/4 mile run the fuel pressure drops,when driving at 55 mph its at 5/6 but when i shift into high gear it drops when i go thought the traps it at 2 1/2 to 3 pounds is that ok . it runs 12.80 @106 thanks car9fan

I would say that is not an utter emergency, but when the funds allow it, get a bigger pump. I an not big on carb info but it seems that it would be better to matain the pressure throughout the 1/4.

I have to agree. If your pressure is dropping while stompin on the gas then you need a higher volume pump.

Just make sure that you don't lean the motor out too much, or else you're gonna need more then a new fuel pump
