I have a hell of a time catching second
in my stang. Am I not reving it out far enough or am I letting the clutch out to slow?

On the right pavement "Desire" will grab 1st and 2nd, and bark 3rd and chirp 4th. I love it when it hits 4rth. As for what i do, i rev about 3 to 3500 and do a quick shift and quick clutch disengaged. My centerforce clutch loves it. hehehe

If you want to chirp your tires speed shift that sucker. My mustang when it was bone stock chirped all four gears at the strip and ran a 15.77 at 89mph(3000 ft elevation). Drive it like you hate it and you'll get rubber.

Get a clutch setup like King Cobra or Centerforce dual friction and then you'll be riding home on the rear rims at the end of the day.
