Re: kenne bell?
Kenne Bell blowers are great for someone that wants to gain about 150 at the wheels. If you want anymore than that it gets to where it is just as cheap to go with a turbo kit.

Re: kenne bell?
Sounds like the Kenne Bell is for you then. If you like the "whine" you might also look into a vortech SC-trim. my supercharger is very loud on my LX.

Re: kenne bell?
on a scale from 1-10 what do you think the difficulty of the install would be and everything else. should i lower my compression down so i can run more boost(10-15lbs).

Go ahead and pull the heads, get them surfaced and install some good head gaskets (cometic)and ARP head studs then go with either a ported stock lower intake or cobra lower intake to mount the Kenne Bell on. This is stuff you could go ahead and do while you are saving cash.

Re: kenne bell?
If you've got the money, go with some aluminums, Trickflow or AFR are my favorite, good flow out of the box and save lots of weight up front.

Re: kenne bell?
See this is what I am talking about. By the time you buy new heads and an intake manifold and the Kenne Bell blower and all of the other parts you will need you could have went turbo.
I know a guy that just put down 440RWHP and 500RWTQ with a 67mm turbo charged totaly stock 5.0. The only mods were stud mount roller rockers, valve springs and ARP studs throughout. When you are talking about forced induction for a street car a turbo is the ultimate. Anyone that says otherwise doesnt know what they are talking about. My Brother in Law used to have a turbocharged mustang with a stock engine and an auto and it pulled 1.41 60fts and ran low 11's. Hows that for power down low!!!!!!! I am just trying to educate you a little here. You havent lived till you have launched a turbocharged car off of a two step.

Re: kenne bell?
i appreciate that man i really do, and i know turbos in foxes are a winning combo, i guess its just the positive displament s/c is my preference...and how was that car for daily driver? thats what i'm looking for...make around 350-450 DD...i'm not looking for the sky and i might just stick the s/c(when i raise the money) on the stock engine and run like 8psi or lower till i can buy the heads and what not...like i said i'm not lookin for the sky..right now anyways, and plus i'm gettin 3.73s

Re: kenne bell?
my buddy told me that he would sell me his stock eaton blower from his 04 cobra...does anyone make a intake manifold to mate it to my 302? and what do i need to make it work on STOCK internals? about 8-9 psi? or is that kill mode? and what would be a good price for it? i'm seeing on ebay for about 400-500?

Re: kenne bell?
the turbo setup is completely streetable, look at all the Ford F-350's and others that have it for everyday driving. I'm looking into a 76mm on a 363 down the road....Way down the road....
