Electric fan wiring(flex-a-lite)?
Hey guys ... I took my rad and fans out last summer to re-do my motor,...Now I can't remeber what goes where.....
I have these things to hook up... 1. twin flex-a-lite's ( + and - wires) 2. Electro-thermostat ( three terminals???) 3. Lighted switch (three terminals????) What goes where? I feel stuuuupid should have saved the instal insrutions! HELP.

I've hooked up the BlackMagic fans before. Sounds like the wiring is different.. Just hit this web site and get all the wiring

Ill take a stab at it. though i think you could do it a couple ways. The only thing im unsure about is the switch because i dont know how it was wires up before. So ill just assume the switch is a master control and allows the thermostat to work.
Ill start with the switch: Depending on how the switch is lit im guessing that 2 wires are ground the third goes to the - wire on the thermostat then from the + wire on the thermostat you run wires to the +'s on both fans and the -'s from the fans will just go to a chassis ground. As for the third wire on the thermostat it could be a couple things depending on the switch and sensor it could be a wire going to a temp sensor or it could go to the switch as an over-ride. if you can remember how it worked before i might be able to help more.
