What do you think this will run?
A friend of mine has a convertible 95 mustang and he just got a procharger with an intercooler. He has run a best of a high 13's second 1/4 mile with out his supercharger. How fast do you think his car will be and do you thing he will be able to beat me? ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX No good times with 347 stroker yet! |

He may run a little better than that but I sure would not expect him to run 11's with that heavy vert but who knows.
Sounds like your car runs strong I dont think that you will have a problem if you were running 12.50's with your 302. It takes alot of horses to get these verts moving. I based my estimate on a vert that runs at the local track with 10 lbs of boost he runs a 12.30 with a 5 speed is your friends an auto? ------------------ 88 mustang gt convertible bored to 306 BBk equal length headers, mac cold air fender kit, 3.73 FMS gears, Steeds Tri-ax shifter, Steeda underdrive pullies, Custom off road X-pipe, 2 chamber flow masters, cowl hood, nitto drag radials, ford racing clutch, 160* thermostat 16 degrees of timing electric fan off 94' t-bird jacobs electronics cap and wires. I don't think you'll have any trouble with him if you ran 12.5 with your 302 and now you have a 347 stroker. will be a good race if he can find traction. whats the rest of your friend combo??

I don't know what all he has, just that he ran in the high 13's.
