Re: Edelbrock aluminum heads
i read in a magazine where they did a test between about all aftermarket heads and they were like the 3rd best out of about 10.
plus edelbrock stuff is all reasonably priced. |

Re: Edelbrock aluminum heads
I love my Perf. RPM heads. I too have the 2.02/1.60 valves. I run a B-303 cam w/ 1.72 rockers & a Edel. Performer 5.0 manifold. The rest of my mods are in my sig. No I have not dynoed my motor. But my engine builder that assembled the shortblock was guessing some where around 320 horsepower, give or take. With that combination in my '90GT I was pulling mide to high 12s on motor & mid 11s on the juice. I've since sold my Performer manifold & am going to be getting the Performer RPM-2 in another month or so. I can't wait. I'd imagine I'll feel the improvement in the 'ol seat of the pants dyno. I built my motor a good 8 years ago though. If I could do it all over I'd have gone with AFR heads, a non alphabet cam & the RPM-2 intake. But I think the Edel. Perf. RPM heads are right up there near the top of the pack like nastyn8 stated. Are you going to do any portwork on them? What manifold are you going to run?
