Default fuel system upgrades....????

I am looking to replace my injectors with some beefy ones. I have the bone stock inj now which i think are 19# injectors. Will i be ok going up to 24# with no problem?

Also, i am going to replace my fuel pump. I dont know if im going to replace the fuel pump or injectors first. I am guessing the fuel pump will come first.

Am i ok putting in a bbk 255lph pump to replace my stocker? I dont want to damage anything exisisting in the motor.

My goal is to eventually get some afr165 heads and a trickflow stage1 cam put in. I just cant afford do to it all at once My fuel pump will most likely be the next thing that gets upgraded and i want to make sure i get one that isnt over kill and is the right thing.

255 lph fuel pump would be fine and will not damage anything the extra fuel just goes back in the tank through the return line.

19# injectors will support the future mods you mentioned easily. It doesnt hurt anything to go to 24#ers but it isnt necessary.

I would also get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I highly reccomend the aeromotive one.

Thanks! I was thinking of getting a fuel pressure reg soon

It looks like you have a simular setup to my car. I have a 91 coupe. I have not thrown my cobra intake on it yet as i am waiting until i have the money for heads and a cam. How do you like your head / cam setup?

I might go with afr165s and a trickflow stage1 cam......

I like my Canfield heads alot.

I dont care for the E cam much. It makes good power but it lacks street manners.

My cobra intake is fully ported and does very well. I managed to throw together a set-up that has both good low end power and excellent high rpm pull.

The way you are doing things is the smart way. You will be very pleased after your heads cam and intake install. I know I was.

No one has mentioned this yet, but make sure your MAF is set up for the 24# injectors too.
