Default 302 in Ranger....need info

i was wondering...how hard is it exactly to put a 302 in a 1990 ranger? my friend has a 302 long block out of a 88 GT he is selling and if its not all that hard to do i was thinken of buying it and rebuilding it and slapen it in my ranger? the V6 in it now is geting alot of miles on it..dont know how much longer it will last

also..would it be easyer to keep it EFI or change it to carb? if anyone has a web site for this conversion that would be great to....thanks

theres a site somewhere that sells a step by step instruction manual on how to do it. I'll do a search for it and post again if i find it.

I don't think it's extrememly hard, as the automechanics class in my old highschool put a carbed 289 in a 87 ranger, and those guys weren't very bright

I'd expect carbing it would be easier, but wouldnt it be cool to pop your hood and show your friends an EFI 5.0L in there ?
