75hp Nitrous shot...yay or nay
I was thinking about getting a little 75 hp shot of nitrous over the winter. What are everyone's opinions about it? Reliability? Is it hard to install?
If I get the nirtous, I will have 4.10's, DR's, and the no2 for next spring. Woo Hoo. Gonna be a whole different car.

I started with a 75 shot on my first mustang. It want take you long before you'll begin to wonder what the 100, 125, or 150 shots feel like. So be prepared. I had it on an auto though, good luck on the 5 speed. As far as installation goes, I had someone else do it. Reliability, make sure the rpms are above 3,500 before you hit it. I sprayed to soon with the 75 shot one time and only blew a vacuum hose, other than that I never had any problems.

although some people think nitrous is kinda like cheating, if u were going with it, i'd say go with at least 100, maybe even 150.
The real question is are you using this as more of a daily driver or are you planning on racing it alot? are you competing against someone, if so what does he drive? These questions will help you decide where you want your stang to go, or what mods you want for the future |

If I were you, and I was planning on going with nitrous, I'd get some 3:73's or 3:55's instead of 4:10's. Also that 75hp shot probaly isn't going to last long, it'll turn into a 150 shot real quick!

I'd say go w/ a 125 or 150 shot instead. I think it'd be better if you spent the extra $$$ now instead of getting the 75 and then wanting to upgrade 3-4 months later and spending the $$$ anyway. Do it right the first time!

MAK375:
To answer your questions, my car is only a good weather driver. Not a daily driver. I also think nitrous is kinda cheating but it's cheaper than doing heads, intake and cam. I do plan on racing people. One of them has a 94 Cobra T-5 ( Even though you changed your screen name, I know it's you. You can't fool me ) I think I'm just gonna see what the $$ situation is next spring and go from there. Either gonna be nitrous or heads, intake, and a cam. We'll see...

I just got a 75 for one big reason $$$$ not that a 150 cost more it is when I go fill it up. I will use it alot and a 75 shot will make the bottle last a bit longer

I would start with a 125 shot that way you get maximum performance from the stock fuel system thats what I am doing this winter
