How fast can you go with a stock bottom end?
I have a 351w in my 84GT. It has stock crank and rods with hyper. pistons. How fast have people gone running a stock bottom end and still had some kind of reliablity?

You can probably get away with running 300-400hp with a stock bottom end with some decent reliability. Also depends how you plan on making the power, with an s/c, nitrous or N/A?? I'm not completely familiar with the 351W but does it have forged, cast or hypertec parts??

The post said "hyper pistons" meaning hypereutectic, I would say you could probably get 400 hp from a 351W and be reliable naturally aspirated. As far as how fast you can go, it all depends on your car, weight, rear end, tranny, your driving. But if you want, put 400 hp and your cars weight into the mustang analyzer and see what it says.
