Thanks for the help and the diagrams. I'm still a little confused. I am planning to just run a jumper wire like you said - I am wondering if you know which wire on the alternator I need to connect this wire to?

I recieved your PM but it told me that you can't accept PM's back. You might want to enable that option, unless you specifically don't want it. That's up to you.

As far as your charging problems.... It doesn't matter which one. There should be two wires that will connect to the cluster. Just pick one and connect it to a 12v source.
