Question I need your approval.

I know this has been discussed many times b4, but....... I just need your approval.

In less than a week, I plan on buying a 4" cowl induction hood for '79-'82 Mustang.

I'm pretty much set on buying it from either Cincinatti Composites or Motion Performance (I think most of you haven't even bought from or head of Motion P).

Yeah I heard that CC's quality was questionable, but I also heard they have addressed that issue and recently committed to producing higher quality hoods.

Anyways, sounds good? Just always like to get a second opinion. Thanks.

No, AND DON'T SUGGEST CERVINI! They have forgotten where the Fox Body stangs originated from-- the '79. They show preference to 87-93 stangs and have forgotten about the '79s. No they don't make a '79 4" cowl hood, so screw 'em .

What about Harwood? I have a "lift-off" style hood from there and I think it is very good quality. If I had to do it all over again, I would get the bolt on style instead.
If I remember correct, they offered quite a few different stlyes for the 79-82 stangs and their prices were competitive.
IMO, I would consider a Harwood hood.

Yes, you're right 82 GT. I have considered them, but I forgot to mention them + I didn't think anyone on here has ordered anything from them.
Also I called them to send me a catalogue and they said they would but I never received it.

How much did yours cost? You say good quality? How long have you had it? Do you think you could post a picture of it here?

Thanks for responding BTW, buddy.

I almost bought a hood from harwood but it was a pin on and I was looking for a bolt on and they did not have it in stock. It was also a little more money that I had at the time.

The quality was great, it looked real good and I have seen the bolt on hoods from them and they look good also.
