Default Gears

I'm wanting to put new gears in the stang, I'm thinking either 3:55 or 3:27

I want good street, but still have my Freeway driving.

I was thinking more to the 3:55 side, but I wasn't sure, and I'm sure someone here has done it before.

For which car? the 79'? or 66'?

I have 3.55's in my 93, and its great for the highway, i have a 5speed though. I wouldn't do 3.27's in my car.

i know it wasnt on your list, but 3.73:1 gears is a good all around gear. Very strong down low, but will still haul on the freeway.
