Default Taillight lense Q

When I was getting the 93 back on the road, I splurged and got her new headlight/clear corner set and LX rear lenses. Since I swapped them out, the rear lenses keep trying to come off the housing. I used the supplied "roll o' sticky gunk" and the new clips, but it didnt seem to help. Currently, they're attached with "pit crew" adhesive, but it looks like crap, still partially loose, (1/2 inch space on the top between the lense and housing, with dried adhesive connecting them)
I've also tried RVT etc. Any suggestions?

J

I used clear silicone on mine. Ran a bead in the slot the lens fits in and then wraped quack tape around them overnight so they could set up. Been this way about 6 months now, no problems.
