What do offset rack bushings do?
My car is lowered now so I bought offset rack bushings by energy suspension. i have no clue what they do though or what the logic is behind it. Could someone fill me in with an explanation?

No problem, offset rack bushings are for when you lower the car, that changes the geometry of the suspension to the point that you can have "Weird" steering for lack of a better word, the offsets restore the geometry. USE THEM!

It is used to correct bumpsteer...
You have the lower control arms moving up/down in a arc (where the wheel is). YOu have the steering arm moving up/down in an arc (A DIFFERENT ARC) in relation to the a-arms. To get these two to match movement, _sometimes_ you need steerin rack bushings, sometimes you dont. Sometimes you can machine the back of the rack and move it rearward... "Typically", if you lower the car, you might benefit from offset bushings that raise the rack.

DO NOT USE offset bushings in your rack... This is why!!! these guys know what they are talking about!!! Hope this helps...
