Default Help - Car Bucking

I'm new to this, so I hope I'm posting in the right spot.

I have a 2008 Mustang V6 manual transmission. For the last several winters, it has been making a bucking/jerking motion (almost like I stalled it) while driving. Also, the wrench-shaped light comes on (while it's bucking) and it really drags around 2.5-3K rpm. If I am able to get it up to over 3K rpm and shift to a higher gear, it will do the same thing around 2.5-3K rpm. The bucking happens primarily in gears 1-3.

This problem has only ever happened when I drive it winter (usually when there is snow/ice on the ground). I have taken it to three different mechanics but no one seems to know what's happening. Also, when they try to pull the codes for the light coming on, it always shows nothing (as if the light never came on). The light will go off when I turn the engine off, and come back on when I increase my speed and the bucking starts again. The bucking will last for a few days, then disappear for the rest of the winter.

I had this problem again last night and now the light continues to stay on. Before I take it again, I was hoping for some ideas.

Thank you!
