Anyone Ever Seen Body Panels Like This?
I recently bought this 82 GT and am slowly working toward restoring it to its former glory. But I just can't place where the fiberglass fenders with flares, and quarter panel flares came from, I haven't been able to find any information on them. Anybody have any info as to where they came from, and possibly their value? Sorry for the delapidated condition of the car in the pictures, I'm working on it. Thanks.

Might those be from one of those awful Daytona body kits that came out a long time ago? Any one have a thought on it?

I am thinking they look like the fenders that some autocross guys use to put bigger tires under the fenders. Just a thought.

From what I can see from your pic, they could be from Maier Racing, circa 1989 or so. I have some scans from their 1989 Catalog. rmountford@cox.net I cannot get the files to attach for some reason.
