Question Delayed Starting

I've updated my entire ignition system. MSD 6AL, Blaster 2 coil, Pro-Billet Distributor #8456 and Wires. The motor is brand new and needs to be timed. During cranking, it won't start, until you stop cranking, then it will turn over. It needs to be adjusted, I understand that. Why won't it turn over while cranking? Help!!!
