Default fuel pump

My fuel pump is going out on my 92 and was just wondering if it makes any difference between buying a stock, generic one or if i should by a performance one like Holley or BBK. Im going to be putting a heads/cam/intake combo on if that makes any difference in your suggestions. thanks for any suggestions or info.

with your SC and h/c/i/ plans i would go with a bbk 255 in tank to start out. if you have the money go with a custom grind cam for the SC. Or if you dont have the $, go with either a trick flow stage 2 or a comp cams(ask comp cams which one).

I agree, definitely get a 255 intank pump and go from there. But a 255 intank is a minimum since you've already got a s/c and are planning on getting more top end goodies, yoiu may end up needing an additional inline pump aswell.
