Default 1991 5.0 Engine Rollback

The car engine occasionally goes to zero Rpm and then if at cruise clutch restarts. If at fairly low speed is stops completely but then restarts immediately with the ignition key. Because it doesn't seem to happen on every trip, the auto shop has been unable to diagnose and solve. Any ideas? I'm not a mechnaic, just trying to find the problem.

Can you be more descriptive on your problems? When the engine goes to 0RPM's is it dying or jumping right back up? Can you describe what you mean by the clutch "restarting"? When was the last time you got a tune up? Any mods? What's the timing at? Did the Auto shop pull any codes?
