Thumbs up I have three questions (Water Wetter, Convertable Light Bar, AODE Shifter)

I was thinking of adding Redline Oil's (water wetter) to my cooling system. Has anyone used it before and how does it work?

Is it easy to install a Light bar into a 94 GT and is there much modifying if any to do for it to fit?

Does a aftermarket shifter (example: B&M) fit good into the 94's center console or does it look really messy and not as clean as stock?

Water Wetter-No idea, but have heard good things.

Light Bar-Easy install if you don't mind cutting on the interior panels. Took me about two hours start to finish with hand tools.

Shifter-You will not even know the difference, other than the shifting, that is.

Did the light bar you installed come with the brake light too? I wanted to install the bar but if it came the light, I was going to leave it disconnected. What did you use to cut the interior?

Thumbs up

Water wetter is great stuff, my guage went from the "A" of "N O R M A L" to the N, rarely ever goes past the "O". I've used it for years and no problems.

Red82gt,

Cool, I'm gonna try some and hopefully it'll keep my car running cooler.

Dinomite,

I like the bar for the looks but aren't too crazy about having a third brake light. I've seem them advertised without having the brake light.

The convertible light bar does nothing for safety. If you roll your car, it will do nothing for you, it's just for looks like you said just so you know.

I don't know anything about Redline water wetter, but I did buy NOS cooling system treatment. I'm waiting to get my new hoses before I add it. All I can say now is the stuff in that bottle looks and smells like when my toilet gets stopped up, but it probably will work great.

I have the B&M shifter. The handle on the B&M actually looks like the stocker, but it makes the shiifter boot look perfect...like a mustang should be right out of the factory. My B&M even has an option where you can bias the handle rearward for leverage. I've seen the PRO 5.0 in a '94 GT and the boot is so crinkled up on the handle, it actually kind of swallows the handle. To me that would get in my way when shifting, but you could easily trim the boot where it attaches to the plastic base in that case.
