Default "XXX" in the lifter valley

My block has XXX on the sides of the lifter valley. What does this signify? Just wondering. I have an '89 coupe. I don't remember seeing this on my father-in-law's car when we put on his intake.

This came up a few months ago. I don't remember what it means, but I do remember that it was nothing special. It's just a production roller block.

yeah, I've seen it on 7 different blocks, all stock from Ford. I thought the same thing the first time I saw it on one of mine, I was getting pissed cause i thought I had some cheap crap or something or maybe it was a rare find, but oh well. If I could just find the lottery ticket with the right numbers!
