which muffler to choose?
This is sort of unrelated but this message board is #1 so I'd like to ask a question for my friend. Whats a good sounding muffler for this 84 CJ? Single exhaust, V6. Just wondering what you guys run, how they sound, etc. its a daily driver. Maybe good ole flowmaster 40's? I have magnaflows on my stang but he's looking for a more agressive sound, the magnaflows are quiet at idle and load when you get on it. thanks in advance for the opinions!

Re: which muffler to choose?
I think flowmasters sound pretty good on a v6. But that was on a mustang not a jeep.

I like FlowMasters. Even the 3 chamber 50 series seem loud on my car (no cats). I had to hold my ears when I had my car dyno'ed today and I'm half deaf, LOL.

Re: which muffler to choose?
Flowmasters will sound good on the jeep. My neighbor had one on his 94 cherokee with the straight six and another friend had one on his ranger with a V6 both sounded surprisingly good.
